The point I was trying to make (and clearly failed) was that you shouldn't try to make someone feel stupid for bringing up something they thought was relevant. A tie-in to the Percy Jackson series (which I have read, by the way) very well may be interesting and/or relevant to some FigHunters. I can guarantee that every time you try to make someone feel insufficient on FH, someone else can easily come along and do the same to you. I'm not condoning "Eye for an Eye" or anything, just saying, watch out for the bigger fish. There's no need for hostility around here.
Side note, name-calling is entirely unnecessary.

None of them. The Greek gods were a bunch of spoiled children who abused their powers, killed or imprisoned their parents, and then started having sex with anything that moved including humans, their own family, and monsters. I mean who gives a box full of the worlds evils to a curious girl? Who does that?!?! Then there was that whole Zues thing where he made himself look like that one guy, and slept with the dude's wife just to get back at him. Just... Ugh.
